Your Gift Certificate is our Secret! 

The Gift Certificate MUST BE PRESENT DURING THE VISIT. 

In the past, we have sold gift cards for a certain amount of time or a certain service, but sometimes confusion arises as to the value of a gift card.  In order to avoid future misunderstandings, we have decided to simplify and streamline our gift card process by selling gift cards according to dollar value only.  Those wishing to purchase a gift card with enough value to cover the cost of a certain service are urged to review our current price list. 
This can be done by

• Stop in and visit our studio at 4280 Old William Penn Highway,  Monroeville, PA 15146.

In order to retain full value, our gift cards must be used completely within 1 year of the purchase date.  For each month after the initial year has elapsed, the gift card will lose 10% of its value.  Gift cards that remain unused after 2 years have no value left. 

If you have a gift card, you would like to use, please mention it when you schedule your appointment.  Those who do not adhere to our 24-hour cancellation policy (call to cancel or reschedule an appointment you cannot keep at least 24 hrs ahead) will forfeit value on the gift card equal to the price of the scheduled treatment. 

If you are scheduled to use a gift card and you arrive more than 10 minutes late without calling ahead to make special arrangements, you will receive treatment only for the remaining appointment time; however, the full price of the scheduled treatment will be deducted from the gift card. 
(For example:  Sally has scheduled a 1-hour Swedish massage for 1 pm on Friday.  She has a gift card worth $65, the price of 1 hour of Swedish massage.  If she shows up at 1.25 pm, she will receive only 35 minutes of massage and the  full value of $65 will be deducted from the card.)

In particular, we would like to point out that a $65 gift card - which can be used, for a 1 hour of Relaxation Massage - cannot be used to cover the full price of two 30-minute Relaxation Massage treatments.

Appointments 1st appointment arrive 15 minutes early to fill out new client paperwork and consultation/assessment. 10 minutes thereafter.

New Clients 1st appointment will require a $40 deposit to hold the time slot
then the appointment will be made.  This can be done by giving a credit card over the phone or sending a check after tentatively scheduling appointment. 
The appointment will be confirmed when the check is cleared.

24-Hour Cancellation & Late Policy Responsibility

This policy clarifies ownership of financial loss.  Scheduling a session is contracting to pay
for a specific amount of time. If you cannot keep or attend your scheduled appointment,
we must receive sufficient notice to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. 
If you do not cancel or reschedule within this period you will be invoiced for the missed appointment.  Clients who consistently fail to comply with this policy
will be asked to pay in advance for future appointments. 
If you are scheduled to use a gift certificate and you fail to show up
or provide adequate time then it will be forfeited. 

If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, the time will be deducted from your treatment and you will be responsible for payment for the time that was scheduled.  If you were to use a gift certificate then the full amount of service will be deducted from that for the scheduled appointment.

Email is not a reliable means of cancellation so if you send email ensure that it is followed up with a phone call.  Please call 412.401.8909 to inform us that you will be late or cancel.  If nobody answers please leave a voice mail if we are not available to answer your call.  All Monday appointments need to be called in before 3pm on Friday.
